The process of changing the server’s tick rate is very straight forward. Follow the three steps as follows:

1)      In your game panel, go into the ‘configuration files’ section.

2)      Press ‘Text Editor’ next to the ‘Engine.ini’ config file.

3)       

   a)      Add the following line for a tick rate of 30 (standard, the least smooth gameplay):

               [/Script/OnlineSubsystemUtils.IpNetDriver]

               NetServerMaxTickRate=30

   b)       Add the following line for a tick rate of 60 (faster, smoother gameplay):

               [/Script/OnlineSubsystemUtils.IpNetDriver]

               NetServerMaxTickRate=60

   c)        Add the following line for a tick rate of 128 (fastest, smoothest gameplay):

                [/Script/OnlineSubsystemUtils.IpNetDriver]

                NetServerMaxTickRate=128
